I've really been digging the photo editing apps on my iPhone. This shot was taken via the Toy Camera app, tweaked with Tilt Shift Generator, and touched up again with Mill Coulour.  Pretty cool.

Morel Hunting

I did a little spring mushroom hunting in Indiana over Easter weekend. If you've never had Morels you haven't lived. They're fabulous. We found tons, over a hundred, though I only had my iPhone with me and didn't get very many good pictures.

The land we foraged on belongs to my Dad. As a kid in the 1950s and 1960s he had the run of the country and spent his afternoons there searching for arrowheads and jumping quail. Now he owns it. It's a wonderful place for a boy (or man) to play.
